OrSVP Presents The Murder of Roger Ackroyd

OrSVP will open its 43rd season with the Bay Area premiere of Agatha Christie’s The Murder of Roger Ackroyd. This new adaptation, by playwright Mark Shanahan will celebrate the novel’s 100th anniversary from its original publication date. The novel changed the mystery genre forever with its twists and turns and audiences will be taken on a journey that is “to die for!”
In a small English village, where rumors are the residents’ currency, the most prominent man in town is found murdered. When rumors and motives begin to circulate the local police are stumped. But the villages newest resident happens to be world famous detective Hercule Poirot, who takes on the case and will discover the truth.
Award winning director and designer, Matt Cardigan-Smith, returns after dazzling audiences with last seasons production of Murder on the Orient Express, to lead this production!
